Malaysia functions as another focal point for Asia. We specialize in transferring programs originated in Japan suitable for local needs. In addition, abundant nature in this country provides a great opportunity to create educational programs based on nature and wildlife for local children as well as for the whole world. At the same time we provide capacity building programs for young professionals.
I am Nami Akinaga. I studied bachelor degree in Physics, and then received master degree in Sustainability Science at the University of Tokyo. Previously I joined the UNESCO World Conference on ESD in 2014 (in Japan), ASEAN YOUNG LEADERS SUMMIT in 2015 (in Malaysia) as a Japanese delegate.
My mission is “Maximizing the Value of Diversity”. In Leave a Nest, I have been committing to creating platform for scientists and the next generation leaders to generate knowledge beyond field, country and cultural borders.
I believe that the country Malaysia has a full potential of “diversity” in many ways. Leave a Nest as Science Bridge communicators together with Malaysia, we can combine different values and knowledges to create vision towards the better future.
