Registration closed! 31 entries from 8 universities Applied For TECH PLANTER in Indonesia 2019

TECH PLANTER in Indonesia 2019 closed the official application period on 29th with 31 teams from 8 local universities registered for this year. Thank you to all applicants.

For those who aren’t familiar with TECH PLANTER, this unique real-tech Seed Acceleration program aimed to discover potential researchers and startups that have world-changing ideas and able to leave positive social impact through the implementation of science and technology.

Since the program started in 2018, TECH PLANTER in Indonesia attracted various teams from university students, researchers and startups from different parts of Indonesia. This year, we received the highest application in Deep-Tech, 11 entries, followed by Bio-tech, 8 entries, Agritech tech, 8 entries and IT, 4 entries.

Leave a Nest will select top 12 entries for TECH PLAN DEMO DAY. Selection will be done through documents checking, due-diligence and interviews. Finalists will be mentored by experienced Leave a Nest members in preparation for TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in that is scheduled to be held on 4th May 2019 at Block71 Jakarta, Indonesia.

For this year, finalists will get the golden opportunity to pitch their ideas to corporate partners from Japan and also local agencies that interested to support participants to go to the next level.

Other than bragging rights for a year, winner of TECH PLANTER in Indonesia 2019 will receive JPY300k and a chance to represent the country in final regional round of TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Singapore (return airfares and accommodation will be fully covered).
