SCIENCE CASTLE is an international conference for youth researchers and entrepreneurs. It is a platform for Junior and Senior High School students to share their research and development projects with a focus on Science, Technology, and Engineering to solve social challenges faced in ASIA and/or the world.
We are inviting expressions of interest for Poster Judges for SCIENCE CASTLE in SINGAPORE 2018. This is a wonderful opportunity to be a judge, not just a spectator at an International Science conference for Middle and High School students in the ASEAN region and Japan.
As a poster judge, you will have the opportunity to not only interact with young scientists from around the world but also understand, comment and provide valuable feedback to encourage and nurture their passion in science and research. By participating as a poster judge, we hope you can learn from the students’ research projects, as well as a reminder of your own passion in your early years as a student.
Poster Judges will be spending their time and expertise to select the most deserving team for Best Poster Award.
Volunteer judges will receive project abstracts for review before the conference, as well as materials we have prepared for you, including judging criteria.
Poster Judges are welcome to give comments. However, they are reminded to give constructive feedback from a scientific point of view, as the role of a researcher.
Requirements of Poster Judge Volunteers:
1. Passion to communicate with next-generation researchers
2. Have qualifications of at least a Masters in any field of study
3. Be an active researcher in their field of study
4. Be available for the whole event on 2nd November 2018, Friday (09:30hrs – 18:00hrs)
