~Create a Dreamed Future by Yourself~ Robotics workshop by Leave a Nest Singapore will open from January 2018!

Leave a Nest opened Robotics Workshop for elementary school students back in 2011 in Tokyo, Japan, and over 100 elementary school students have taken part in our program so far. Based on the idea that “Create a Dreamed Future by Yourself”, in this Robotics Laboratory program, students will learn characteristics of various materials and tools, how power and mechanical and electronic systems works, and finally the basics of programming to learn skills and knowledge to create their own robots. These classes are designed by Leave a Nest  in collaboration with robotics development company, super factories and others.

Join us for trial workshop program!

Before the official opening, we will hold several pre-workshops. In these programs, students can learn the basics of robotics.

[18th October] “Let’s make your own hovercraft!”


Hovercraft is a ship that use the power of air.  It can float on water, and also move across uneven land surfaces. In this workshop, we will make our own hovercraft from scratch. Let’s have fun together!

Ph.D., Wright State University, Dayton, OH. Psychology (Human Factors & Industrial Organizational Psychology). My doctoral research was about visual attention on dual task situations. While working on doctoral research, I was also working as an academic advisor for undergraduate program in Psychology engaging in academic counseling, holding seminars and evaluating undergraduate curriculum. After joining Leave a Nest, worked on overseas training program development, write and edit career magazine. Currently a general manager in Global Platform Development Division, mainly working on training program development for youth leaders and teachers in Japan and the world.
