N-BMR ([email protected]) from Mahidol University won the first prize! – TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Thailand

On June19th,Sunday, TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Thailand has been held at University of The Thai Chamber of Commerce, UTCC. 12 finalist teams had a chance to appeal their ideas directly to the top management teams from Japanese private sectors and top decision makers from Thai universities.

AWARD WINNERS

Winner: N-BMR([email protected]) (Dr. Dakrong Pissuwan, Mahidol University)
(Innovative application of gold nanoparticles for wound healing)

Leave a Nest Co., Ltd Award: Enzmart (Dr. Ruchanok Tinikul, Mahidol University)
(Thermostable and cheaper luciferase as gene reporter)

This year we had overwhelming number of application entry from over 5 universities around Thailand. Past 2 months each teams had at least 1 skype meeting with Leave a Nest before selection has been made to final 12 teams.

Out of 12 teams, 1 team received a grand winning award of 200,000 JPY (equivalent to approx. 68,000 THB) for seed money and travel tickets and accommodation to attend TECH PLAN DEMO DAY in Singapore on 23rd July.
